How to create a Catalog? (Only for EVM chains)
Creating a catalog for your NFTs can make managing and organizing multiple assets on EVM-compatible chains simple and efficient. With Kalp Studio's NFT Creator, you can quickly set up a catalog tailored to your unique collection. Here’s a step-by-step guide to setting up a catalog within Kalp Studio.
Note
Catalog on KALP Studio’s NFT Creator generally refers to the ‘collection of NFTs’ Under a similar parent type.
Step 1: Accessing the NFT Portfolio

Open ‘NFT Creator’ by logging into KALP Studio console.

In ‘NFT Creator’, navigate to the NFT Portfolio section located at the left sidebar menu (Fig.1).

On the dashboard, if no NFTs are currently created, a message will appear saying, “No NFT yet!”

Now click the ‘+ Create NFT’ button to start creating a new NFT.
Note
You need to connect a wallet first for creating a NFT, if not connected already.
Step 2: Initiating Catalog Creation

On the Create NFT screen, beside ‘Select Catalog’ field, a "Create New Catalog” button is provided.

Click on the Create New Catalog button. This opens a pop-up where you can easily set up your Catalog details to match your style and collection needs.
Step 3: Setting Up Your New Catalog

Upload Catalog picture: Upload a cover image for your new Catalog.
(Supported formats for thumbnails are JPG, PNG, GIF and WEBP, with a max size of 5 MB) -
Name your Catalog: Give a name to your new Catalog.

Description: Add a brief description about your Catalog's purpose or theme.

Click on ‘Create Catalog’ button at last to create. A confirmation message will appear indicating successful catalog creation.
Note
Transaction needs to be signed through wallet in order to create Catalog, if Metamask Wallets connected.
Your catalog is now ready, making it easier to organize, categorize, and select NFTs within the NFT Portfolio. With your collection structured just the way you want it, managing your NFTs in Kalp Studio becomes a seamless experience.
