How to View a SeedPhrase?

To view a seed phrase, follow the steps given below. Ensure you are in a secure and private location before proceeding, as exposing your seed phrase can compromise your wallet's.

Step 1: Open the Kalp Wallet Extension

1. Launch your browser and click on the Kalp Wallet icon in the toolbar.

2. Unlock the wallet using your password or authentication method.

Step 2: Navigate to the Profile icon

1. Click on the profile icon

2. Click on Settings

3. Select the option View Seed Phrase

Step 3: View Seed phrase

• Wallet will ask for a login credentials. Verify by entering your login password.

• The wallet will display your seed phrase on the screen.

• Write it down carefully on paper and store it in a safe place. Do not save it digitally to prevent hacking.

Step 6: Exit Securely

1. Once you have noted the seed phrase, close the seed phrase screen.

   1. Ensure you log out of your wallet and avoid sharing the phrase with anyone.

Important Notes:

• Never share your seed phrase with anyone, even if they claim to be from support. This is a sensitive piece of information that gives full access to your wallet.

• Store the seed phrase in a secure, offline location (e.g., a safe or a secure document).

• If you lose your seed phrase, you may lose access to your funds permanently.
